In 2006, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary purchased the 6,000 volume library of Charles Spurgeon, the largest collection in the world of Spurgeon’s personally owned works. The Spurgeon Library is committed to furthering biblical preaching and theological higher education.
The Complete Sermons
Now out of print, we are making available online all of the sermons from the 53-volume “Works of Charles Spurgeon,” for free. These sermons are coming soon to the online library.
The Personal Library
In addition to making available Spurgeon’s own writings as a resource to the public, we’re also digitizing select volumes from Spurgeon’s personal library, complete with annotations.
Come, Ye Children
Spurgeon’s thoughts on reaching children with the gospel and training them early in the things of God. A rare work, filled with wonderful helps for parents and teachers.
